School Year
The school year begins the Tuesday after Labor Day through the first Friday in June. The school is closed the week between Christmas and New Years, a week for Spring Break, as well as the day after Thanksgiving and most Federal Holidays.

Summer Camp
Camp starts one week after the end of the school year and ends two weeks before the start of the following school year.  Registration materials and fees are available in February.

School Lunch
Children enrolled in the Full Day Program are encouraged to eat the school lunch.   Parents may provide lunch if their child has special dietary needs.  The cost of the lunch is $2.85 per day and the parents are billed at the end of each month.

Tuition Deposits
A tuition deposit of $200.00 is due when your child is accepted in the spring for the following school year, or in the spring when your child re-registers for the following school year.  This deposit is applied toward the May tuition payment of the following year and is not refundable after August 1.

Application Fee and Materials Fee
A fee of $100.00 is due with the completed application for admission.  Applications cannot be processed without payment of this fee.  This fee is not refundable.  A Materials Fee of $150.00 is due each October.  The Materials Fee is not refundable.

Notes
Payments made after the 3rd of the month will be charged a $20.00 late fee.  A fee of $25.00 will be charged for returned checks.  No refunds in tuition will be made when your child is absent.  The weeks that the school is closed have been calculated into the tuition; therefore, no adjustment is made for those times.  Tuition will be pro-rated for actual weeks attended for children starting or leaving mid-year.  No refund will be made when a child is withdrawn without 30 days written notice.  Fees are subject to change with 30 days written notice.  There is a 10% discount for the second child in a family enrolled concurrently.  There is a 5% discount when the annual tuition is paid in full by August 1, 2008.

**While children turning 5 between September 30 and December 31 are eligible to stay for afternoon class beginning the month of their 5th birthday, they may not be considered in kindergarten according to Virginia State Public Schools.
